The Afrikaans poet C.J. Langenhoven
said: "Two things made my life worth while - the love that I
gave and the love that I received"
In Hos. 6:6 God says: "For I desire mercy, not sacrifice, and
acknowledgement of God rather than burnt offerings". And Jesus
says in John 13:35: "By this all men will know that you are my
disciples, if you love one another." |

The world will notice that
we are disciples of Jesus, only when we accept and love one
another unconditionally and this alone will move others to
also accept Jesus as their saviour. Our lives should reflect
the love of God to such an extent that our enemies will be
inspired to follow our example.
Most of us know 1 Cor.13 by heart , but do we live it out in
our everyday lives? To love others unconditionally is a
choice that we have to make everyday.
True love for our fellowmen, can only be found in God,
because God is love. When God lives in our hearts, our lives
and deeds can't but reflect the love of God.
Let's start the new year by loving our fellowmen and by
eradiating the unconditional love of God. " And now these
three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of
these is love!" 1 Cor. 12:13
