your mobile phone with mWebPlayer |
This is a tiny,
easy-to-use Web Radio Player for mobile
devices. It's the simple software
application which plays streaming MP3 music
from thousands of internet radio and can
work with any Java-based mobile device like
a cell phone, a PDA or a smart phone. The
application size is about 150 kb and it's
compatible with any J2ME MIDP 2.0 device.
Keep in mind that your mobile has to support
audio/mpeg mime type to play MP3 stream (you
can check all supported types in MIME Type
screen)
You can either
download the application to your PC and
transfer and install it from there on to
your mobile phone or visit our website with
your mobile phone, navigate to "Listen
Online" and then choose the "mWebPlayer"
option.
Downloading to your PC
- You
might need to change the settings of
your application manager of your phone
as follows:

Program Installation: All
-
Certificate Check: Off
Please consult the user guide of your
mobile phone to see where you should
check the settings.
- Click
here to download the file.
- Make
sure your PC and mobile phone can
communicate with one another.
(Please read the user guide for your
particular mobile phone.)
- Copy the
.jad file to your mobile phone and
install it.
- When the
application is successfully installed,
it should be somewhere in the menu.
(On the Nokia N70 it is installed
under the "My Own" folder. Please
consult the user guide of your mobile
phone regarding the location of newly
installed applications.)
- Open the
mWebPlayer application.
- Follow
the prompts. You need to confirm that
you will be using the Internet.
- The
application will now open.
- On the
menu, select "Radio List". Press
the — at the bottom of the screen.
- You will
now see "Radio Pulpit - Radiokansel"
right at the top. Press the — at the
bottom of the screen to select it.
- The
player will now connect to the Internet,
and start playing.
- At the
bottom middle there is a key:

Opens a menu where you can
manipulate the player and the
volume.

Stops the player
- V -
Makes the volume louder
- < -
Closes the menu
