Godly Revolution Youth Festival

Written by on 16 April 2024

It’s that time of the year again. Godly Revolution Youth Festival is back with a bang! The event occurs on 14 June at Lewende Woord Main Campus, Brummeria Pretoria. Bring your friends and family and enjoy award-winning artists and bands like One Crown, C-Jay, DJ Maeztro, Arnold de Wet, Jaid River, and more.

Godly Revolution is one of the most significant Christian youth events in South Africa. Curious to learn more, we contacted the organizers for an exclusive chat about what makes this event special.

What makes Godly Revolution so special?

Godly Revolution will be 22 years old this year. It started in 2002 at Gallagher Estate in Midrand. Since 2002, more than 100,000 lives have been impacted by this event. It has been dormant for 12 years and was relaunched in 2022 after the COVID-19 pandemic.

This new generation of teenagers has a heart for worship, wants to understand their identity in Christ, and loves taking hands across all cultures and borders. It is our privilege to serve our youth with a new Godly Revolution 2.0 that allows them to invite their friends to this prestigious event. The event brings young people to Christ and helps them discover their true identity in Him together with their newfound community of believers. It also equips them to reach others in their area of influence.

Who are the bands and artists?

Fan-favourites like C-Jay, DJ Maeztro, and One Crown are back with a bang. Then we have really good worship bands on stage like the Youthfest, Unite 180, and Fusion Bands. An evergreen artist, Arnold de Wet, who started out during the first Godly Revolution events, will now be ministering to the next generation. Be sure not to miss a new talent, Jaid River, with her Celtic voice and alternative music style.
