Writing Matric exams is no joke, and on top of that, learners are only allowed to take a transparent pencil case containing the necessary stationery into the exam room. For many, simply purchasing such a pencil case already feels like a mountain to climb.
As Radio Pulpit celebrates 45 years of broadcasting, we want to mark this special milestone by investing in the next generation.
Through our A Pencil Case Filled with Hope initiative, we want to bless and encourage Matric learners as they take the final few steps of their Matric journey and complete their final examinations with the prescribed examination stationery.
Because stationery is the last thing a Matric learner should have to worry about.
THE PENCIL CASE
We invite you to sponsor a pencil case for R100, containing a quality pen, pencil and ruler, to bless a Matric learner.
You can choose how many pencil cases you wish to sponsor.
THE BLESSING
You are welcome to send us an encouraging message and a Bible verse via WhatsApp, which will be placed inside the pencil case.
In this way, the Matric blessing is passed on from one generation to the next!
THE TARGET
Our goal is to distribute 3,000 pencil cases to schools.
With 3,000 pencil cases, we can bless a minimum of 10 schools and encourage 3,000 Matric learners as they prepare for their final examinations.

HOW DO I SPONSOR A MATRIC LEARNER?
1. Sponsor a pencil case
Sponsor the number of Matric pencil cases of your choice by depositing the amount into our bank account, using “Matric” as the reference.
R100 = 1 pencil case for 1 Matric learner
2. Send a message of encouragement
Send us a WhatsApp message to 082 657 2729 with an encouraging message for a Matric learner, accompanied by a Bible verse. We will ensure that it is placed inside the pencil cases.
