Facilitating conversations of empowerment

Thursday Live is a unique programme on Radio Pulpit with a focus on empowering listeners for the business world.
Experts and entrepreneurs share their stories intending to encourage and bring hope. The programme aims to provide an answer to the high unemployment rate that our country faces. Your presenter is Godfrey Moabi, here are some of the topics he covers:
- Debt counselling
- How to start your own business
- How COVID-19 affects our businesses
The programme aims to provide some solutions to South Africa’s high unemployment rate, and according to Godfrey, one of the answers is entrepreneurship.
I think entrepreneurship is the answer to tackling the high rate of unemployment not only in South Africa but the world over. We must advise people to have an entrepreneurial in their approach to life.
“Whether we like it or not, the days of 8 am – 4 pm job securities are quickly coming to an end,” he explains. “COVID 19 pandemic has made things more complex for the employment market with many people losing their jobs and some companies shutting down. But I see this as the beginning of a new era rather than doom and gloom to our economy. Be your own boss, and put your skills and experience to good use. Go to higher education institution not just to find employment but to create jobs. Right now there are untapped funds to assist a lot of small business owners in South Africa. People need to take advantage of that.”
It is God’s heart to see His people prospering on all fronts. With Thursday Live on Radio Pulpit, Godfrey skilfully facilitates conversations of empowerment, to see God’s people successful and assisted on their journey to victory.
