Brad Huddleston – Digital Rehab SA Tour 2022

Written by on 14 October 2022

Top-selling author Brad Huddleston returns to South Africa due to popular demand. This time with the launch of his new book Digital Rehab – Learning to Live Again in the Real World.

Brad is an international author that has toured the world with his first book ‘Digital Cocaine’. Now he is back in South Africa for a month-long tour to launch and promote his new book and to help people with digital addiction to heal.

When Brad was asked why he came to South Africa for this book launch, and to do a tour, he shared that he was inspired by South Africa because when spiritual pressures hit the country, South Africans pray.

From an outside perspective, South Africans may not see this, but I’ve tracked the spirituality of your country and it is very healthy in many respects. And it is not my desire, but it’s what God has done. God has placed me here, for whatever reason, and I have embraced it.

In the new book, Digital Rehab – Learning to Live Again in the Real World, Brad shares the newest statistics post-Covid and the effect that technology has on us. But he also equips us with means and ways to fix these problems. Brad is a Christian and follows a conviction to help.

We have such rampant digital addiction, and what I believe God is asking us to do, is to detox. This is what this book is about, about detoxing. And it is a very difficult and painful process.

He goes on to explain that digital addiction is something that happens in the brain and it hurts when you go through the withdrawal symptoms. Teens and young people especially struggle with digital addiction and we need to explain this process of healing to them.
