Thursday Live Radio Pulpit

For the past 23 years, Godfrey Moabi has been part of the team that helped grow Radio Pulpit and the Pulpit Media Brand. He is a skilful communicator and uses his talent to proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ.

He grew up in Zeerust and also discovered his passion for radio there. However, despite his love for radio and sheer determination to become a radio presenter, he later changed his mind due to the discouragement of people. “When people asked me what my plans for my future were, I said I was going to become a bus driver, and they were happy with that,” Godfrey says. However, he was still convinced, deep within his heart, that he wanted to be on the radio.

Godfrey later went to study broadcasting and worked for several community stations in Johannesburg before joining Radio Pulpit in 1997. Here he could fulfil his dreams of being a radio broadcaster while also spreading the Good News.

He is married to Pertunia Moabi, and they have four children. He is also passionate about local football and business.

One of his passions is to see people succeed and assist on their journey to victory. He encourages young people to pursue their dreams with the quote.

Do what you love, and you will never have to work a single day of your life.

Tune in with Godfrey Moabi on Radio Pulpit for Thursday Live and Intimate Moments.
