Jenna-Leigh Bilong shows
Jenna-Leigh Bilong is a well-known television news anchor and Radio Pulpit presenter with more than ten years of broadcasting experience on both national and local platforms. She is also an author, entrepreneur and pastor.
Viewers and listeners became familiar with her voice and face when she started working at a community radio station and a local newspaper in her hometown, Worcester. In her early twenties, she moved to Johannesburg to work at a popular Afrikaans national radio station where she quickly became a favourite. From there she moved on to television as a news anchor. Many viewers could relate to and loved her trademark greeting at the end of every bulletin. “Goedheid en guns, goeienaand”, which means goodness and mercy, good night.
God has granted me the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the best in the industry. I will be forever grateful to Him for allowing me to see how things are done with excellence.
Jenna-Leigh boldly shares her testimony of how she overcame domestic violence and infidelity at a young age in her first marriage. She uses her testimony for the glory of God and the expansion of Christian media. Her heart is to win more souls for Christ.
Whether on a stage, radio, and television or behind a pulpit, she hopes to impact lives. God brought her from living in poverty in a squatter camp to overcoming many challenges. He brought her to a place of wholeness and hope. Together, with her husband, Bishop Ed Bilong, she pastors a vibrant congregation in Newlands, Johannesburg called Grace Court Impact Centre. They have a passion for community development and head up various projects.
